gGadget > Sony® Tablet P Launches March 4
The Sony Tablet P has been available in the UK for a couple of months, and now it’s finally coming to the U.S. This new tablet will officially hit AT&T store shelves on March 4. The Sony Tablet P is a foldable, dual-screen tablet PC that allows users to efficiently multi-task between its two screens. This Sunday, this new Sony tablet will go on sale exclusively at AT&T for $399 with a two-year data contract. Consumers will also be able to opt to buy the tablet from AT&T for $549 without the two-year contract.
The Sony Tablet P has a 1 GHz dual-core processor, a 5 megapixel rear camera, .3 megapixel front camera, 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD slot that allows for up to 32GB of additional memory space expansion. Additionally, the tablet’s two screens are 5.5 inches each, and they each have an incredible screen resolution of 1024 x 480. Unfortunately, the dual-screen feature of this tablet does tend to affect battery life. The tablet can only go 7 hours in between charges. The Sony Tablet P runs on the Android 3.2 OS and will receive the upgrade to ICS later this year.
