Restaurant owners know how inconvenient it can be to print off wine lists every time the restaurant’s wine selection changes. Restaurant Wine List is an app for iPads that allows you to update your wine list instantly without having to print anything off. Restaurant Wine List also provides a fun, interactive way for patrons of your restaurant to view the wine selection.

Automatic, a group of app developers and marketing professionals in New York City, recently created the app for the Metronome Hospitality Group. There was a need for a wine list tablet app that restaurants could rely on to keep their wine lists up-to-date. So, Automatic created it. Prior to the creation of the Restaurant Wine List app, other wine list for iPad options were primarily meant for use by wine collectors to keep track of the wine they owned.

A few restaurants are beginning to make the switch from traditional menus to tablets with menu apps. If your restaurant is able to afford several iPads, the Restaurant Wine List app is a must. As soon as one of your employees adds or takes something off your wine list, all of the iPad wine lists in your restaurant are updated. This app saves time and paper, allowing staff members to update a restaurant’s wine list with a few taps of the screen.

Great use of the iPad! Updating a wine list can become tedius. I’m glad many restaurants have embraced new technology to better serve the customer.

It’s nice to go and have a wine that’s fitted to your restaurant.

I’m using the “eMenu pro” app as a wine menu in my restaurant (It is made by a company called “Conceptic”) and it’s absolutely great! Diners are ordering much more wine than before because they get to really choose the wine that they like, without the pressure of asking the sommelier a million questions.
