Advantages of Both Cameras
When everything’s said and done, both the Panasonic DMC-TS3 and the Sony TX10 are solid rugged camera choices. If you’re looking for a camera you can take with you on all of your many outdoor adventures, you won’t be disappointed in either of these digicams. If you’re stuck deciding between them, it’s probably a good idea that you know about their similarities as well as their differences. Here are a few of these two cameras’ shared strengths:
- Both the Panasonic DMC-TS3 and the Sony TX10 can record 1080p True HD quality videos. This means that they both have the best video technology available to cameras right now. If capturing good quality videos is as important to you as capturing good quality images, neither of these options will disappoint.
- Lens stabilization enables the DMC-TS3 and the Sony TX10 to take blur-free photos. Lens stabilization is the best kind of image stabilization a camera can have. If the camera is shaking for some reason, lens stabilization compensates for the movement and allows you to take a clear photo.
- As we’ve already mentioned, both of these cameras are waterproof, shock-proof, and freeze-proof. So, you can take them practically anywhere with you without having to worry about them getting damaged at the drop of a hat. Additionally, if you want to take underwater pictures as your snorkeling or swimming at the beach, both these digicams can handle the task.
- The Panasonic DMC-TS3 usually sells for around $250, and the Sony TX10 usually sells for around $275. So, for top rugged digital cameras, both of these options are fairly reasonably priced, especially when you consider that they’re both practically unbreakable.
So, if things like zoom and GPS are important to you, the Panasonic DMC-TS3 is probably the camera for you. On the other hand, if image quality and continuous shooting speed are what matter to you, the Sony TX10 is probably your best bet. And no matter which you choose, chances are, you won’t be dissatisfied.
