SolarBulb is an LED table lamp that will light up your room in a totally eco-friendly way. You charge SolarBulb for three hours in the sun, and it can provide five hours of full LED lighting. SolarBulb doesn’t come with a base like an ordinary lamp. In order for this LED lamp to stand on its own, you have to place it on top of a plastic bottle. So, when you use SolarBulb, you’re not just being kind to the environment by using a solar powered LED lamp. You’re also doing the environment a favor by recycling a plastic bottle.

SolarBulb screws on to almost all types of plastic water bottles and soda bottles. All you have to do to charge SolarBulb is put it in a place that gets direct sunlight. If it’s cloudy outside, you can still charge SolarBulb. You’ll just have to wait a little longer for it to fully charge. As soon as you place your fully charged SolarBulb in a dark area, it will illuminate the inside of the plastic bottle it’s attached to beautifully. There’s no need to turn this LED lamp on or off. This LED desk lamp can detect how dark an area is and adjust the amount of light it emits accordingly.

SolarBulb is an attractive and interesting addition to a home. It has a modern and futuristic appearance. So, it may not be the best LED reading lamp to place on your 19th century antique bedside table. Fortunately, this solar LED lamp works just as well on your front porch as it does in your living room. And it is even covered with UV-ABS weatherproof casing to enable it to withstand harsh weather conditions.

gGadget gives SolarBulb two big, green thumbs up!
