CLEAR Spot Voyager |
CLEAR Hub Express |
Today, Clearwire Internet Services released their brand new CLEAR Spot Voyager for $129 and their CLEAR Hub Express for $99. The CLEAR Spot Voyager is a personal hotspot that allows you to connect up to eight devices to the Clear 4G network. The CLEAR Hub Express is a wireless hub that functions dually as a modem and wireless router. You can use the CLEAR Hub Express to set up a hotspot in your home or office, and you can take the CLEAR Spot Voyager wherever you go and connect to the CLEAR internet network.
The CLEAR Spot Voyager is only 2.6 square inches in size and only weighs 2.1 ounces. Despite its small size, the device boasts a pretty powerful battery, which can last up to six hours before you have to recharge it again. The CLEAR Spot Voyager can provide a 4G internet connection to just about any tech toy that’s WiFi enabled, including most smartphones, tablets, and handheld gaming consoles. If you never want your gadgets to go without a reliable internet connection, this new personal hotspot from Clearwire Internet may be ideal for you.
The relatively affordable CLEAR Hub Express gives your WiFi enabled devices instant access to the CLEAR 4G network in your home or office. The best part about the CLEAR Hub Express is that it works instantly, as soon as you take it out of the box and power it up. You don’t have to spend time installing the device, as you might need to with another, similar wireless hub or router.
Although these new releases from Clearwire will likely be appreciated by many consumers, they’re not too groundbreaking or exciting. We’re all still waiting for Clearwire to make their 4G LTE network go live across the country. Clearwire has tested out their LTE network in select locations and promises that it will be available to the masses sometime soon.

My clearwire isn’t all that “clear”. The internet is choppy unless I’m right next to a window. I want this technology to work oh so badly, but it just doesn’t seem to be there yet.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s too slow. Hopefully this new one will be better.
