gGadget > Box App® for Android Boasts 50GB of Free Cloud Storage
Box, a popular cloud storage provider, recently launched an app for Android devices. All Android users who download the new app and create a Box account will receive 50GB of cloud storage space for free. Like other cloud storage services, Box allows users to store and access files and documents. Once you set up a Box account, you can transfer and access files to it from anywhere: your PC, your laptop, your tablet, and your phone. If you’re an Android user who wants to pick up a big chunk of free cloud storage space, consider checking out Box this month.
Box is a pretty standard cloud storage option. You can get a basic account with 5GB of cloud storage space for free (or 50GB, if you get the Box app on your Android within the next 30 days). And you can get a business or enterprise cloud storage account with up to 1000 GB of cloud storage space, if you are willing to pay a little bit more. You can only transfer files to Box that are 2GB or less in size at a time. The temporary access to 50GB of free storage space is a major plus, and it’s likely to win Box some serious brownie points among Android users.
